Mi is ott leszünk :)
Yesterday I attended a free memoQ webinar. This is an online presentation where after prevoius registration participants log in to a web interface where they can see the monitor of the presentator on their screen and may comment what they hear and see via their microphone or a chatbox if necessary. Yesterday's session was on online project management in English. We compared the advantages and disadvantages of online and offline translation projects, talked about the workflow steps, and finally saw some of the new features of the brand new version memoQ 4.5. This brings several changes including a brand new translation memory engine and a combination of the above mentioned online and offline project management methods in order to improve efficiency. This webinar was meant for project managers but there are several others for complete beginners and translators as well - you can check them out in the calendar .
And if you feel like having a little rest, come to memoQfest! (Although this one is in Hungarian, the international event is held in the spring). We will be there for sure :)
